                    Hon'ble Sri Justice Thoota Chandra Dhana Sekar was born on 10th June, 1975, to Smt. T.
             Sailaja and Sri T. Chandrasekaran, Advocate at Sathyavedu, in the erstwhile Chittoor District (now
             in Tirupati District) of Andhra Pradesh.
                    He studied up to 10th Standard at Government Junior College, Sathyavedu and attended
             SKPD Boys Higher Secondary School, Chennai for his Intermediate course. He completed his
             undergraduate education B.A. from R.K.M. Vivekananda College, Mylapore, Chennai, where he
             was a Gold Medallist. He obtained his Bachelor of Law (B.L.) degree from V.R. Law College,
             Nellore, and was again awarded a Gold Medal for academic excellence.
                    He enrolled as an Advocate on 11th March, 1999, on the rolls of the Bar Council of Andhra
             Pradesh, and commenced legal practice under Sri Paramkusham Venugopal, Senior Advocate and
             later the first Advocate General of the present State of Andhra Pradesh. Under his mentorship,
             Justice  Dhana  Sekar  gained  extensive  experience,  specializing  in  civil,  constitutional,  and
             taxation matters in the High Court.
                    He  served  as  the  Government  Pleader  for  Commercial Taxes  for  the  State  of Andhra
             Pradesh in the High Court from September 2019 until his elevation to the Bench.
                    Throughout his legal career, Justice Dhana Sekar was involved in several landmark cases,
             contributing to a broad array of reported judgments, particularly in the domain of Revenue, land
             acquisition and taxation jurisprudence.
                    Appointed as Additional Judge of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and sworn-in as such on

             28th October, 2024.
