Designation of Senior Advocates
                    The High Court has formulated guidelines for designation of Advocates and Senior Advocates on 05.05.2022.
                    Twenty two advocates have been designated as Senior Advocates with effect from 06.05.2022, dated notification
                    ROC No. 18/SO/2019.  As of now there are 86 Senior Advocates in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh.
                    JUDICIAL ACADEMY

                    Judicial Academy for the composite state of Andhra Pradesh was established pursuant to  G.O.Ms. No.568,
                    dated 28.09.1991 it functioned from Secunderabad.
                    Up to 2018 the Judicial Academy at Secunderabad was the Training Institute cum Academy for both States. The
                    name of Andhra Pradesh Judicial Academy established for composite state was altered as Telangana State
                    Judicial Academy. Thereafter Hon’ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh has taken note of all practical difficulties
                    decided to constitute a separate Judicial Academy for the state of Andhra Pradesh and a recommendation
                    was made to that effect to the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Thereafter G.O.Ms.No.152, dated 21.10.2022
                    was issued according sanction for establishment of Andhra Pradesh Judicial Academy in the State of Andhra
                    Pradesh.
                    As an immediate measure for housing the Judicial Academy, a rented accommodation was identified viz.
                    Amaravati Techno Towers, Murugan Hotel Street, Kaza Village, Mangalagiri Mandal, Guntur District and the
                    Judicial Academy is being established with all required amenities very shortly.
                    Services of a Senior District Judge, A. Hari Haranadha Sarma, of the cadre of supertime scale are drawn as
                    Officer on special Duty/In-charge Director to attend the work related to establishing the Judicial Academy.
                    Committee of Hon’ble Judges was constituted to pursue the establishment of Judicial Academy and to see
                    the overall working of Judicial Officers’ training and research institute and all matters relating thereto; capacity
                    building of Judicial Officers.
                    Hon’ble the Chief Justice is the patron in Chief and the guiding force for the working of the Andhra Pradesh
                    Judicial Academy.
                    The Proposed Academy building is at a finishing stage. And 95% of the Civil work is completed. Elevation work
                    is in progress.
