Venuthurumalli Gopala Krishna Rao

Born on 30.08.1964 to Smt V.Koteswaramma and Sri V.Somaiah. Completed his 10th class in
Jai Hind High School at Machilipatnam, his Intermediate at SRYSP Junior College, Challapalli,
Krishna District and completed his graduation, Post-Graduation and Law at Machilipatnam.
Enrolled as an Advocate on 05.04.1989 on the rolls of Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh and practiced
as an Advocate at Avanigadda in Krishna District, he joined in A.P. State Judicial Service as Junior
Civil Judge in the year 1994. Later promoted as Senior Civil Judge in the year 2007 and further
promoted as Additional District Judge in the month of February, 2016 and posted as Special Judge
for SC, ST cases at Srikakulam and worked till April, 2019. From Srikakulam, transferred to
Tirupathi as a Judge, Family Court and worked at Tirupathi till he was transferred to Guntur as I
Additional District Judge.
Elevated as Additional Judge, High Court of Andhra Pradesh and sworn in on 27.01.2023.
Appointed as Judge of High Court of Andhra Pradesh and assumed charge as such on the forenoon
of 28.08.2024.
