T.Mallikarjuna Rao

Born in an agricultural family on 19.01.1964 at Pulletikurru, East Godavari Dist. to Smt.
T.Ramana and T.S.R. Murthy. Had his school education at his native place Nedunuru, East Godavari
District. Did graduation in B.Sc. from S.K.B.R. Degree College, Amalapuram. Thereafter, studied
Law in G.S.K.M. Law College, Rajamahendravaram, East Godavari District. After enrolling as an
Advocate on the rolls of Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh in the year 1988, he joined the Office of
Shri P.S. Rama Chandra Murthy, Advocate at Amalapuram, East Godavari District. Practiced as an
Advocate for a period of 6 years from 1988 to 1994. On 05.05.1994, he joined in the A.P. State
Judicial Service as Munsiff Magistrate, Parchur and served as Junior Civil Judge in different
stations and got promoted in the year 2007 as Senior Civil Judge. While working as Senior Civil
Judge, he did his L.L.M. through distance education mode in Aacharya Nagarjuna University.
Subsequently, he got promoted as District Judge in the year 2015 and worked at Machilipatnam,
Gurazala, Eluru, Nuzvid.
Elevated as an Additional Judge of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati on
04.08.2022. Appointed as Judge of High Court of Andhra Pradesh and assumed charge as such on
the forenoon of 14.03.2024.
