Vaddiboyana Sujatha

Born on 10th September 1966 to late Sri V. Uma Maheswara Rao and Smt. Late V.
Jayalakshmi. She did her Schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Delhi Kant, New Delhi. Thereafter,
after her father gave voluntary retirement to Air Force, she shifted to Hyderabad and thereafter,
completed her education from Osmania University. She completed M.A. (Sociology), M.A.
(Political Science), and she also got specialised in Law (Constitutional Law). She enrolled as an
Advocate on 23.04.1998 and did her training in the office of Smt. M. Bhaskara Lakshmi for a period
of one year and thereafter joined in the office of Sri A.V. Sivaiah, the then Standing Counsel of
APSRTC and also Government Pleader for Land Acquisition and Panchayat, for a period of five
years. Thereafter, from the Year 2004 onwards she started practicing independently in all cases
Civil, Criminal, Writs. Worked as Panel Advocate for the Legal Services Authority in the combined
State Legal Services Authority and also was the Panel Advocate for the erstwhile State Bank of
Hyderabad prior to its merge in State Bank of India.
On 11th June, 2020, she was appointed as Government Pleader for Forests and Civil
Supplies Department and continued as Government Pleader till her elevation as Judge, High
Court of Andhra Pradesh. Assumed charge as Permanent Judge of the High Court of Andhra
Pradesh on 14th February, 2022.
