Subba Reddy Satti

Hon’ble Sri Justice Subba Reddy Satti was born in Aravalli, West Godavari District to Smt.
Lakshmi Devi @ Jayalakshmi Gopemma and Sri Bala Nagendra Reddy, a distinguished Chemist and
agriculturist. His Lordship did his schooling at the Government Elementary School in
Tallamudunurupadu, matriculation from Andhra University, Intermediate and Bachelor of Arts
from Dr. Goenka Government College, Pentapadu, and obtained his degree in Law from NVP Law
College, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. His Lordship also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in
Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bombay and
completed his LL.M in Dispute Resolution from O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat.
His Lordships was enrolled as a Member of the Bar Council of the State of Andhra Pradesh on
22.06.1994 and commenced his practice in the courts at Tadepalligudem, West Godavari District
under the mentorship of Late Sri A. Satyanarayana. In 1997, His Lordship shifted practice to the
High Court of Andhra Pradesh at Hyderabad. His Lordship initially joined the office of Sri Jalli
Siddiah, Standing Counsel for Andhra Pradesh State Electricity Board, and later joined the
chambers of Late Sri V.L.N. Gopala Krishna Murthy, a designated Senior Advocate and renowned
practitioner of Civil Law.
Over the years, His Lordship has extensively dealt with matters of Civil, Constitutional,
and Criminal nature in the erstwhile High Court of Andhra Pradesh at Hyderabad as well as the
High Court of Andhra Pradesh at Amaravati. His Lordship also served as the Standing Counsel for
the Tirupati Urban Development Authority. His Lordship was sworn in as a Judge of the Hon’ble

High Court of Andhra Pradesh at Amaravati and assumed charge as such on 14.02.2022.
