CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS

To assess and improve the qualitative and quantitative performance of the judicial officers
in the District Judiciary, the Committee constituted for District Judiciary Workshops, and
directions thereto, the High Court of A.P. conducted workshops all over the State with an avowed

objective to equip the Judicial Officers with the sound knowledge of law, substantive as well as
procedural.
All the Hon'ble Administrative Judges of the respective Districts, chaired the workshops,
and they were assisted by the respective Principal District Judges as a Nodal officer. In all the

workshops, the Judges in the cadre of Civil Judges(Junior Division), Civil Judges (Senior Division)
and the District Judges, not only participated with grit and gumption, so also chosen Judicial
officers in the respective Districts, have presented exquisite research papers .

Under the aegis of the Hon'ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh and the above committee, the
committee stood as a beacon in an endeavor to throw light on many of the grey areas of
substantive and procedural laws, to enhance the dexterity of the Judicial officers in the District
Judiciary, by choosing suitable topics for discourse and deliberation, in the workshops.

The notable initiative in selecting the varied subjects for the workshops reflects the vision
of the Hon'ble High Court in enhancing the amplitude of the Judicial Officers at the District level,
so that they can challenge the docket explosion, given the nature of the cases instituted, time to

time on the boards of their Court.
The topics selected for the workshops were also meant to quench the thirst of the Judicial
Officers to enhance their jurisprudential potentiality and practical relevance at the level of the
District Judiciary. Thereby increasing their legal astuteness, and practical domain to overcome

the bottlenecks.
The entire exercise of the Hon'ble High Court in conducting the workshops is, to see that,
the Judicial Officers at the District Judiciary enhance the quality and quantity in dispensing

Justice to the teeming millions of litigants knocking their Court from rustic, semi urbanite and
urbanite terrain.
Hon'ble sitting Judges of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, Hon'ble Judges (Retired) of the
High Court, participated in the workshops in their Lordships attempt to disseminate legal

acumen, to the members of the District Judiciary.
All the Hon'ble Administrative Judges of the respective districts have generally conducted
the conferences and workshops. The table given below reflects the topics regarding the

conferences and workshops in the year 2025.
The judicial officers for the respective workshop from all the Districts have presented
research papers with zeal and enthusiasm on the topics specified in the schedule in an endeavour
to increase their legal acumen. Their contribution in this regard exemplifies the object for which
the workshops conducted.
