APPOINTMENT OF LAW CLERKS
LAW CLERKS
To assist the Hon'ble Judges fresh Law graduates from the Universities were appointed as
Law Clerks. The Government of Andhra Pradesh issued G.O.Rt.No.501, (L, LA & J-Home(Courts.B)
Dept) dated 28.05.2020, on consolidated pay of Rs.35,000/- p.m., giving consent for
appointment of 30 law clerks and later increased the strength to 40.
In the year 2025, numbering 12 candidates were provisionally selected and all the
candidates have been allotted to the Hon'ble Judges. As on 30.12.2025, 40 Law Clerks are working
to assist the Hon'ble Judges of High Court of Andhra Pradesh.
