COMPUTERIZATION IN SUBORDINATE COURTS IN THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH:
The NC CIS 3.2 Software has been successfully rolled-out in all the 13 Districts in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
There are 199 Subordinate Court Complexes covering 331 establishments and 621 Courts in the State of
Andhra Pradesh functioning with NC CIS 3.2 software.
VPN Digital Certificates:

The connectivity in the Subordinate Courts was previously through VPNoBB, but the new concept of VPN Digital
Certificates were introduced. All the VPNoBBs in the Subordinate Courts were converted to regular broadband
connections and all the Court Complexes are given BSNL broadband connections with 10 Mbps bandwidth.
In the new concept of VPN Digital Certificates, when once the certificate is installed in the Server and firewall
is obtained, the data can be uploaded to the NJDG through any Internet Service Provider other than BSNL. In
case of any connectivity issues with BSNL at the locations, the users are uploading the data to NJDG even by
using their Mobile Internet which is a unique feature adopted by the High Court.

HARDWARE PROVIDED TO THE SUBORDINATE COURTS UNDER PHASE-II OF THE e-COURTS
PROJECT:
There are 621 courts and 199 Court Complexes in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Desktop Computers, UPSs
and printers are provided to the existing courts under Phase-II of the eCourts Project. Display Board Monitors
with thin-clients and extra monitors with splitter have been provided to the courts.

In total 2880 LAN points have been installed for covered courts and 924 LAN points have been installed for not
covered courts out of the total number of 621 courts in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

There are 41 KIOSK machines installed in District Court Complexes and 171 KIOSK machines have been
installed in Taluka Court Complexes out of the 199 court complexes. There are 212 Projectors with Screens
and 212 UPS for network room have been installed in 199 Court Complexes.
There are 177 Video Conferencing equipment installed in Court Complexes and 66 Video Conferencing
equipment have been installed in Jails. The Judicial Service Centres/Computer Server Rooms have been
functioning in all the Court Complexes.

All the Judicial Officers of the Subordinate Judiciary have been provided with Laptops and also laserjet printers
for use in their home Offices. BSNL Broadband connections were also provided to the home Offices of all the
Judicial Officers.

CITIZEN CENTRIC SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH JUDICIAL SERVICE CENTRES IN THE
SUBORDINATE COURT COMPLEXES:

· A-Diary
· Case Status Information
· SMSs are being sent to the Advocates at all the Court Complexes
· e-mails are being sent to the Police Stations regarding personalized cause-list
· eCourt Services APP
· Justis APP
· NStep for service of summons is taken up in all the Districts providing 1857 Cellphones to the process
servers working in all the Districts.
