Legal Awareness Programmes on Child Marriages & Early Pregnancy:

Legal Service Institutions have conducted massive awareness camps from 24 August to 30
August 2025 on “Child Marriages, Early Pregnancy and its ill effects”. A total number of 356
programmes conducted, a total number of 31,416 persons participated.
Awareness Programmes On “untouchability And Atrocities Against Sc’s/st’s And
Effective Implementation Of Pcr Act 1955 And Sc/st (poa) Act 1989”:
Legal Service Institutions have conducted Legal Awareness Programmes on Untouchability
and atrocities against SCs/STs and effective implementation of Protection of Civil Rights (PCR)
Act, 1955 and SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989. A total number of 106 legal awareness programmes
conducted and a total number of 9473 persons participated.
Good touch & Bad Touch :
Legal service institutions have conducted legal awareness programmes on Good Touch and
Bad Touch to sensitise the children. A total number of 17 programmes conducted and a total
number of 2622 persons participated.
Sensitization/Workshop on “POCSO Act”
Legal Service Institutions have conducted Sensitization Programmes/ workshops with all
the Judicial officers, Officials of Police, Revenue, and Advocates etc., for better implementation
of the POCSO Act. A total number of 330 legal awareness programmes conducted, a total number
of 30653 persons participated.
Sensitization Programmes On Posh Act
As per the instructions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal No.2482/2014
titled "Aurelian Fernandez Vs.State of Goa & Ors" the Legal Service Institutions conducted legal
awareness programmes on Gender Sensitization and the Sexual Harassment of Women at
workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal ) Act, 2013 (POSH Act) .
Legal Awareness programme on PC & PNDT Act
The Legal Services Institutions have conducted Legal Awareness programmes at Schools,
Colleges, Villages etc., on Rights of Women and Provisions, Do’s and Don'ts under PC & PNDT Act,
punishments for the offences that come under the identification of gender through scanning. A
total number of 10 programmes conducted , a total number of 1341 persons participated.
Conducting of Legal Awareness Campaign on the Braillee Tools available to the Visually
Impaired persons:
A newspaper clipping published in the Deccan Chronicle on 10.03.2025 under the title
“Regional Language Braille Tools Aid Visually Impaired” in the State of Andhra Pradesh, the
Secretary, DLSA, East Godavari visited the Zion Special School for Visually Impaired and
Orthopedically Handicapped on 25.03.2025. During the visit, the Secretary informed the teachers
