Observing Bonded Labour Abolition Day on 9 February, 2025
The Legal Services institutions have conducted Legal Awareness programmes workshops,

Outreach programmes and also conducted rallies, on the occasion of "Bonded Labour Abolition
Day". A total number of 64 programmes conducted and total number of 4061 persons were
participated.
Radium belts to cows and buffaloes
As per the directions of the Hon'ble High Court vide Judgment in W.P. (PIL) No. 116/2024,

the penal provisions punishable under Motor Vehicle Act 1988 explained to the stake holders.
On this occasion, Smt. M. Babitha, Member Secretary, APSLSA, Dr. H. Amara Rangeswara
Rao, Deputy Secretary, APSLSA, Sri T. Murali Krishna, D.S.P. Thullur, Sri T. Venkateswara Rao, C.I,
Thullur, and other police officials visited to Venkata Palem village on 6-2-2025 to fit the radium
belts to cows and buffaloes.

Door- to- Door Campaign on POCSO Act

On 16-2-2025 Smt. M. Babitha, Member Secretary APSLSA inaugurated the door-to-door
campaign organized by the VIT University, to create awareness on POCSO Act in the panchayat

office, Sekhamuru Village.
