The DLSA Kurnool has taken the said incident onto file suomutu. Wherein 19 passengers

were charred to death, after confirming the reports of DNA tests, bodies have been handed to
their family members. The DLSA Kurnool has set up the Help Desk (Helpline No.15100) at the

office of District Legal Services Authority, Kurnool with a main objective and motto of the Legal
Services Authority to provide legal assistance to the dependants/family members/relatives of

the deceased or injured victims, who were in distress lost their beloved ones in the said inferno
accident. The District Legal Services Authority, Kurnool also deputed Para Legal Volunteers to

extend their services at the scene and hospital.

The DLSA, Vizianagaram conducted a
special awareness camp for women on
safety and usage of Shakti App by women on
13-10-2025 at Conference Hall, District

Court Building, Vizianagaram. A total
number of 45 persons participated.

Capacity Building/Sensitization Programmes:
Training/Sensitization Programmes to Juvenile/Child Welfare Officers:
Some of the DLSAs have conducted Training/Sensitization Programmes to Juvenile/Child

Welfare Officers and members of Special Juvenile Police Units and enlightened about the JJB Act,
Child related Laws etc. During this period 06 training programmes conducted, a total number of
514 police members participated.

Assistance to those affected by the Montha Cyclone
As per the directions, Legal Services institutions organized assistance to the victims of
Montha Cyclone. The DLSAs established cyclone shelter homes for the affected victims, and assist

them by distributing food, water together with medical aid.
