TECHNOLOGICAL
EVENTS
The High Court is taking progressive steps to strengthen its institutional infrastructure
with a view to enhance the administrative efficiency, ensuring greater transparency, and
facilitating ease of access for all the stakeholders, including the Sections of the High Court and
the learned Advocates, in the matters pertaining to case management and allied official work. In
this regard, the High Court has been developing new Software Applications and procuring
advanced Hardware to support the Hon'ble Judges, Registrars, Officers of the High Court, learned
Advocates and other stakeholders in the effective implementation of emerging e-Initiatives and
Technological advancements.
Further, under Phase-III of the e-Courts Project, the High Court has procured new
Hardware and Software components for the High Court and the District Judiciary by utilizing the
funds of Rs.37,32,26,438/- sanctioned by the Government of India. The High Court also procured
various other Hardware and Software components, which were not covered under the eCourts
Project by utilizing the State Government budget. These measures are aimed at modernizing
judicial infrastructure, improving digital service delivery, and ensuring seamless functioning
across all Units of the State Judiciary.
The ICT Infrastructure is procured as Computer Hardware, Software Applications
and Networking.
COMPUTER HARDWARE
1. ESTABLISHMENT OF E-SEWA KENDRAS
The High Court of Andhra Pradesh established a total of 38 e-Sewa Kendras, comprising
four (4) in the High Court at Amaravati and thirty-four (34) in the District Judiciary. These
Kendras extend assistance to the learned Advocates and the other stakeholders in
obtaining case status, orders, participating Video Conferencing, eFiling and availing other
related services, in accordance with the directions issued by the Hon'ble e-Committee,
Supreme Court of India. All the eSewa Kendras are equipped with Six (6) All-in-One
Computers, a Scanner, Printer, Document Visualizer, two (2) Cameras, two (2) Microphone-
cum-Speakers and Networking.
