International Labour Day/May Day

As per directions of the Hon'ble Executive Chairman, APSLSA is pleased to direct to

conduct “Awareness Week for Unorganized Workers" from 1st May, 2025 to 7th May, 2025 in
commemoration of International Labour Day (1st May, 2025) as part of implementation of "NALSA

(Legal Services to the Workers in the Unorganized Sector) Scheme 2015" .
As per directions, Legal Services institutions to identified clusters of unorganized workers

through Para Legal Volunteers, organized legal awareness programmes for clusters of
unorganized workers and distributed “e shram cards” to the Unorganized workers. A total

number of 618 legal awareness programmes conducted and 28,731 migrant workers were
participated.

World Environment Day” on 05-06-2024
Legal Services Institutions have conducted Legal Awareness programmes in collaboration

with stakeholder departments, on the occasion of World Environment Day. Also planted saplings

and released the posters on this occasion. A total number of 93 programmes conducted and 7,236
persons were participated.
World Day Against Child Labour

The Legal Services Institutions conducted legal awareness programmes on the occasion of

“World Day against Child Labour, on 12-12-2025. On this occasion releases the wall posters
relating to the “World Day against Child Labour. A total number of 47 programmes conducted

and 2,843 persons were participated.
World Elder Abuse Awareness Day” on 15-06-2025

The Legal Services Institutions conducted Legal awareness programmes in collaboration
with stakeholders departments NGOs & Manavatha Swachanda Seva Samstha on the occasion of

“World Elder Abuse Awareness Day” A total number of 143 programmes conducted and 63,011
persons were participated.

International Yoga Day on 21-06-2025
Smt. B.S.V. Hima Bindu, Member Secretary, APSLSA, Dr. H. Amara Rangeswara Rao, Deputy

Secretary, APSLSA and staff are participated the Yoga celebrations organized by Hon'ble High

Court at the High court premises.

World Day Against Trafficking in Persons on 30 July, 2025
Legal Services Institutions have conducted Legal awareness programmes on 30-07-2025
and also released posters on the occasion of “Observation of World Day Against Trafficking in

Persons”. A total number of 76 programmes conducted and 7,867 persons were participated.
