JUDICIAL ACADEMY
Training Details the Andhra Pradesh Judicial Academy, a Category-1 Training Institute of
our State is functioning with comprehensive training facility for the State Judiciary from
30.12.2022. It is conducting various training programmes for all the cadres of State Judicial
Officers, Ministerial Officers and other Stake Holders.
The Hon'ble the Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh as Patron-in-Chief and five sitting Judges
of High Court as the President and Board of Governors, guide the functioning of the Academy. The
Academy is headed by the Director whereas the Addl. Director, Senior Faculty Members I & II, Dy.
Director, Asst. Director and Administrative Officer, will assist the Director.
This Judicial academy is established with a hope and vision to strengthen the justice
delivery system by imparting continuous judicial education and training, not only with an aim to
build the capacities of the Judges, but also to improve their skills in adjudication, court
management and to sensitize them the constitutional values and practical insights. It is the
bounden duty of the Judges to work to the best of their abilities, with social and moral
responsibility.
The Academy is Located at Mangalagiri, near Kaza Toll Plaza in a serene background,
housed in a decent and modern building with necessary amenities for an ideal learning
atmosphere.
The Andhra Pradesh Judicial Academy in its endeavour to impart training has conducted
basic course institutional training for Civil Judges (Junior Division), foundation course for Entry
Level District Judges under Direct Recruitment. So also the Academy conducted orientation
course for Civil Judges (Senior Division) who has been promoted from the cadre of Civil Judges
(Junior Division). The Andhra Pradesh Judicial Academy has also conducted professional
advancement course for District Judges appointed on promotion from the cadre of Civil Judges
(Senior Division).
